General Information
Golden Tiara Hosta is a great plant for your landscape. It is a moderate sized hosta, great in shaded borders, under a large tree or woodland gardens. The leaves are smaller, oval in shape, growing around 5 inches long and 4.5 inches wide. The leaves are green, with a light green to golden yellow margin. The margin color depends upon the amount of light the plant receives. Flowers bloom mid-summer on 2 foot tall stems. They are funnel shaped and lavender-purple in color. Hummingbirds are attracted to these flowers.

Hosta 'Golden Tiara' grows to a height of 12 to 16 inches, with a spread of 34 to 38 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. It grows best in full to partial shade. Golden Tiara grows well with moderate amounts of moisture in well drained soils. The leaves should be checked for slugs and snails, but this a largely pest free, low maintenance plant.
