Forbidden Fruit Hosta is a perennial plant. It is moderate in size, reaching 20 inches tall. This hosta will form as a nice mound of foliage, with great ornamental appeal. Forbidden Fruit Hosta will be perfect for a variety of shady landscaping areas. Large, broad, thick leaves will provide an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The leaves have blue-green margins, with a golden-yellow center. Flowers on stems above the foliage, beginning in the midsummer. They will be light lavender in color. The flowers are attractive to hummingbirds!

Hosta 'Forbidden Fruit' will be 20 to 24 inches tall, with a spread of 30 to 36 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Forbidden Fruit Hosta will do best in full to partial shade. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
