General Information
Halcyon Hosta is a great plant that could work well in different areas of your landscape. It is a moderate sized hosta, growing to 14 inches in height. It grows in an upright fashion, in an overall mounded, spreading form. This hosta typically prefers at least partial shade, making it ideal for shaded areas around your home, under large trees, or any other shaded area you may have. Halcyon is mainly known for its beautiful leaves, but does have great flowers as well. They grow on stems, to two feet tall, above the foliage. The flowers are bell shaped and lavender-blue in color. The leaves are heart-shaped and cupped, with a broadly ridged texture. The thick leaves have a wonderful blue-green color.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
