Echo the Sun Hosta is a perennial plant. This is a mounded, broad hosta, reaching up to 4 feet wide. The wedge shaped leaves is thick in substance with wavy, rippled margins. The leaves are a nice bright yellow, taking on some chartreuse tones. Bell shaped flowers are lavender in color, borne on tall stems. They bloom in the midsummer. The flowers of the Echo the Sun Hosta are attractive to hummingbirds. This plant will be a great choice for brightening up shaded areas.

Hosta 'Echo the Sun' will be 17 to 19 inches tall, with a width of 42 to 48 inches. Flower stems to 27 inches tall. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Echo the Sun Hosta will grow best in partial to full shade conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
