General Information
Grass Leaved Goldenrod is a perennial plant. It will be a taller plant, reaching 4 feet in height. This plant is native to a broad swath of the northern and eastern US. The leaves will be longer and narrow in form. It will keep a nice deep green color through the growing seasons. Grass Leaved Goldenrod will have flat topped clusters of bright yellow flowers. They will typically be in bloom from mid to late summer. These flowers are very attractive to butterflies and many other pollinators. Great choice for native planting areas, spreads freely under ideal conditions.
Additional Information
Solidago graminifolia will be 3 to 4 feet tall, with a width of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Grass Leaved Goldenrod can grow in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do best with average to moderate amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
