General Information
Tuscan Sun False Sunflower is a great plant for many different areas of your landscape. It grows in an overall rounded fashion, with nice dense foliage and flowers. The leaves are oval shaped and are dark green in color. The flowers stay upright, growing on nice green sturdy stems. The flowers are similar in appearance to sunflowers. The petals are golden-yellow in color, with a yellow-orange center. They typically bloom beginning mid summertime. These flowers are quite attractive to butterflies, bees and other pollinators.

Heliopsis helianthoides 'Tuscan Sun' grows to a height of 24 to 36 inches, with a spread of 20 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA planting zones 3 to 9. It can grow in full to partial sunlight. It tends to do well in average moisture conditions in well drained soils.
