General Information
Diamond Lake Hosta is a perennial plant. This hosta is shorter in nature, with a broad overall growth habit. The plant has a great deal of ornamental appeal, perfect for a variety of shaded landscaping areas. The leaves of the Diamond Lake Hosta are quite large, at 9 inches wide and 11 inches long. They are heart shaped, thick in texture with wavy edges. The leaves a very attractive powder blue-green in color. Lavender colored flowers will appear on stems above the foliage in the early summer. The Diamond Lake Hosta is the 2022 Proven Winners Hosta of the year!

Hosta 'Diamond Lake' will be 15 to 18 inches tall, with a general width of 3 to 4 feet. Flower stems will be 25 to 28 inches in height. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Diamond Lake Hosta will do well in full to partial shade conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
