General Information
Prairie Smoke Geum is a perennial plant. It will form as a lower growing mound of foliage, with flowers held on tall stems above. It will have nice blue-green leaves. They will give the plant a nice look through the growing seasons. The flowers of the Prairie Smoke Geum will be dark pink. The stems add to the display, reddish-purple in color. After the flowers, white to pink feathery, wispy seedheads will appear. The flowers will begin to show late spring to early summer. Great for attracting a variety of pollinators!

Geum triflorum will be 8 to 12 inches tall, with a width of 8 to 12 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. Prairie Smoke Geum will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average moisture amounts in well draining soils.
