Orange Blaze Red Hot Poker is a perennial plant. This is a compact plant, with a great deal of ornamental appeal. It will be a great border plant, in flower beds and a variety other settings. The foliage will have a generally upright habit. It is dark green in color, keeping a nice appearance in the growing seasons. The flowers are smaller in size, growing in large clusters. They are a beautiful bright orange in color. Orange Blaze Red Hot Poker blooms all through the summer. The flowers are very attractive to hummingbirds, butterflies and bees.

Kniphofia 'Orange Blaze' will 24 to 30 inches tall, with a width of 18 to 24 Inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Orange Blaze Red Hot Poker will grow best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
