General Information
Frankly Scarlet Coneflower is a perennial plant. This plant will have an upright form, with flowers held on stems above the lower clump of foliage. It will be a great choice for a variety areas. The foliage is dark green in color, providing a nice backdrop for the flowers. The flowers are larger in size, at 4 inches wide, blooming from mid to late summer. The are a beautiful scarlet-orange in color, aging to coral-orange. There is a nice orangish-brown seed head. This can be left up to provide a food source for birds in the winter. The Frankly Scarlet Coneflower is also quite attractive to pollinators.

Echinacea 'Frankly Scarlet' will be 24 to 28 inches tall, with a width of 16 to 20 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Frankly Scarlet Coneflower can grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Good drought tolerance once established.
