Cherry Vanilla Dianthus is a perennial plant. It will form as a nice mound of foliage with flowers held above. This dianthus will be a great choice for your landscape. The leaves are small and narrow, growing quite densely overall. The blue-green foliage gives the plant a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers are fully double and larger in overall size. They are deep red in color, with a light pink edge. They bloom heavily in the early summer, with possible rebloom late summer. The flowers of the Cherry Vanilla Dianthus will be attractive to bees and butterflies!

Dianthus 'Cherry Vanilla' will be 8 to 10 inches tall, with a width of 8 to 12 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Cherry Vanilla Dianthus can grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
