General Information
Ruby Stella Daylily is a great plant that could fit well in many different areas of your landscape. It is a moderate size perennial, growing about 2 feet tall and wide. It has interesting foliage and flowers, making it ideal as a contrast plant in larger plant beds, borders, in a mass planting or even in a large container. The foliage is finely texture and narrow, giving it a grass-like appearance. The medium green color foliage takes on a mounded form, providing a great backdrop for the flowers. The flowers form on stalks above the foliage beginning in the early summer, with continued blooms into the late summer. The flowers have a trumpet shape with a ruby red color and a bright yellow throat.
