General Information
Stella de Oro Daylily is a delightful perennial for many different areas of your landscape. It provides a great burst of color for borders, beds and in mass plantings. This a very popular plant because of its ability to adapt to a variety of soil and environmental conditions. The plant forms as a clump of narrow, arching deep green leaves. The flowers are carried on stems rising above these leaves. The flowers are smaller, around 2.75 inches in diameter. They bloom in abundance from late spring into the summertime. The flowers have bright yellow petals, with a slightly darker yellow throat. Nice fragrance, very attractive to butterflies!

Hemerocallis ' Stella de Oro' grows to a height of 12 to 15 inches, with a spread of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Stella de Oro can grow in full to partial sunlight. They are quite tolerant of a variety of moisture and soil conditions.
