General Information
Lemon Yellow Sombrero Coneflower is a very nice perennial plant. It works well in flower beds, borders and many other locations. These flowers are great for attracting butterflies and other pollinators. The foliage is a nice grey-green color, providing a backdrop for the flowers above. The flowers have a daisy-like appearance, with narrow oval shaped petals. These petals are bright yellow in color. The flowers begin to bloom mid-summer, continuing until frost. The center cone is orange to black in color. If these flowers are left standing after frost, these seed cones can provide a food source for finches and small birds in the winter.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
