Walker's Low Catmint is a delightful perennial for your landscape. It forms as a rounded clump of foliage and flowers. Its size and ornamental appeal make it perfect for borders, flower beds and mass plantings. The stems take a bit of an arching habit, giving the plant its rounded shape. The leaves are grey-green in color, keeping a nice look all through the growing season. The flowers are bluish-lavender in color, typically blooming from early to midsummer. These flowers are great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.

Nepeta faassenii 'Walker's Low' grows to a height of 24 to 30 inches, with a spread of 24 to 36 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Walkers Low Catmint tends to grow best when planted in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it is said to have a good deal of drought tolerance.
