General Information
Hello Yellow Butterfly Milkweed is a cultivar of the native Butterfly Milkweed. This plant grows in an upright fashion on sturdy green stems. There are many narrow, lanceolate leaves all over the stems, forming a full clump of the leaves. Large clusters of yellow flowers form on the ends of the stems in the mid to late summer time. Seed pods will form after the flowers. These plants do not emerge until the late spring, with the benefit there being the flowers not emerging until later after many other plants have lost their flowers.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
