Hummelo Betony is a perennial plant. It will form as a nice, rounded clump of foliage with flowers held above. This will be a nice choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. The leaves are narrow with a nice texture and deep green in color. It will provide a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The pinkish-purple flowers of the Hummelo Betony grow in bottlebrush-like spikes. They bloom in abundance from early to midsummer.

Stachys monieri 'Hummelo' will be 18 to 24 inches tall, with a width of 15 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Hummelo Betony will grow in full to part sun conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in a variety of soils.
