Lake of Fire Daylily is a perennial plant. It is a taller daylily, with a great deal of ornamental appeal. This plant would be a nice choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is medium green, narrow and arching in shape. The leaves will keep an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers are quite large, up to 7 inches wide. They will be apricot in color, with a bright red center and ruffled edge. Lake of Fire Daylily will bloom in abundance beginning in the mid summer time. The flowers are great for attracting a variety of pollinators!

Hemerocallis 'Lake of Fire' will be up to 24 inches tall, with a width of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Lake of Fire Daylily will grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
