General Information
String Theory Blue Star is an ornamental perennial plant. It can grow to a moderate height, at 22 inches tall. This plant is more compact than the standard Blue Star, with a generally upright form. String Theory Blue Star will work well in a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are quite narrow, thread-like in nature. They are nice and dark green through the spring and summer months. The foliage will be very attractive golden-yellow in color in the fall. String Theory will have large clusters of light blue flowers from late spring into the early summer.
Additional Information
Amsonia 'String Theory' will be 18 to 22 inches tall, with a spread of 32 to 36 inches. This plant is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. String Theory Blue Star will grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soil conditions.
