Lavender Taffeta Bee Balm is a perennial plant. It is a nice, full bee balm, with a great deal of ornamental appeal. This plant will do well in a variety of landscaping areas. The glossy, aromatic foliage is a very attractive dark green. It will keep a nice look through the growing seasons. The flowers of the Lavender Taffeta Bee Balm are lavender-purple in color. It will bloom abundantly from mid to late summer. The flowers are great for attracting butterflies, hummingbirds and bees.

Monarda 'Lavender Taffeta' will be 22 to 26 inches tall, with a width of 28 to 30 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Lavender Taffeta Bee Balm will grow well in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
