Kurin Kabocha Winter Squash is a great choice for your garden. These heirloom seeds are an exclusive offering from Renees Garden seed company. The vigorous squash vines will produce an abundant crop and also will have very attractive deep green foliage. They can grow along the ground or to save space, they can be trained up a trellis or some form of support. The squash mature to a dark green color, accented with white spots. The interior flesh is golden yellow in color. It will have a nutty, sweet flavor and has great nutritional benefits. They are delicious when baked and have a variety of other culinary uses. When cured and stored properly, the Kurin Kabocha Winter Squash can be stored for a long period of time. Each of these seed packets will weigh 3 grams and contains approximately 20 seeds.
Additional Information
These seeds can be planted once temperatures remain above 50 degrees, typically April to June in most all areas. They can be planted in rows or broad mounds, but should be properly thinned to allow for full growth. These seeds will usually germinate in 7 to 10 days. These plants will generally reach harvest time in approximately 95 days.
