Italian Heirloom Spearmint would be a great addition to your herb garden. It will produce an abundance of deep green leaves, adding a nice appearance to the garden through the growing seasons. It will have a nice aroma when harvested. It is perfect in a variety of salads or cooked dishes. This sweet spearmint also can be dried, frozen or preserved well in a variety of ways. Great as a tea or in mint juleps. Mentha spicata typically should be just grown in containers as it can spread fairly quickly in garden beds. Each packet will contain approximately 675 seeds.

Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
