Heirloom Italian Oregano is a great choice for your herb garden or in containers. These heirloom seeds are an exclusive offering from Renee's Garden seed company. This plant can be grow as a perennial and typically produces better by the second season. The plant will form as a mound of foliage, with nice ornamental appeal. The leaves are deep green in color. Very nice pinkish-purple flower clusters in the second season of growth. This oregano has a nice mild, sweet overall taste. It is perfect for a wide variety of different dishes.
Additional Information
These seeds can be started directly in the garden or early indoors. Plant seedlings or direct sow once temperatures have warmed outdoors. Thin seeds or seedlings 10 inches apart to allow for full growth potential.
