Sea of Red Lettuce is a great addition to your vegetable garden. It will bring great production, as well as ornamental appeal to the garden. These seeds are found exclusively from Renee's Garden seed company. This leaf lettuce will form as a loose bunch of leaves. The leaves have a two inch wide base, tapering to a point at the top. As the name would suggest, this lettuce is a very attractive maroon-red in color. The leaves will grow to around 6 inches at maturity. To harvest, cut 1 to 2 inches above soil level. It should regrow to provide another cutting, with proper conditions. Each packet of seeds will weigh .75 grams, containing approximately 850 seeds.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
