General Information
Rattlesnake and Purple Pole Bean Seeds are a great addition to your garden. These beans are heirloom seeds from Renees Garden seed company. These bean plants will require a pole, trellis or some sort of support in order to grow and produce properly. The plants can grow upwards of 8 feet tall. The packet contains a nice mix of the two varieties of beans. The beans will grow up to 7 inches long. The Rattlesnake Pole beans are green in color, with purple streaks. The Purple Pole beans are a very attractive deep purple color, a standout against the deep green foliage of the plants. They are both great for fresh eating, canning or a variety of other uses.
Additional Information
These seeds tend to grow and germinate best when soil temperatures reach at least 55 degrees. Plant at a depth of 1 inch deep, spaced 4 inches apart. The beans will begin to produce at approximately 63 to 65 days from planting.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
