Tulsi Holy Basil will be a great addition to your herb garden. It has for a long while been used for traditional medical uses. The basil will provide an attractive appearance in your garden. It has deep green leaves, with light purple flower spikes. The leaves can be used in a variety of ways, either fresh or dried. It is used as an herbal tea or in a variety of other uses. Each seed packet will contain approximately 1000 seeds.
Additional Information
Ocimum tenuiflorum can grow to about 12 to 18 inches tall. This annual plant can be planted directly in the garden or started early indoors. The seeds can be planted once temperatures remain above 50 degrees overnight. If starting early, start 4 to 6 weeks before last average frost. Plant quarter inch deep, thinning to 8 inches apart to allow adequate growth.
