General Information
Dukat Leafy Dill is a nice choice for your herb garden. These seeds are from Renees Garden seed company. This is a vigorous and long standing variety of dill. It originates in Denmark and can tolerate light frosts in spring or early fall. This dill, like others, is a fairly open and airy plant, with very finely cut leaves. The blue-green leaves are sweet, savory and aromatic. It is great on vegetables, in salads, on fish or for a variety of other uses. Pollinator friendly flowers will produce seeds that are great for flavoring pickles. Each seed packet will weigh 1.5 grams, containing approximately 750 seeds.
Additional Information
Dukat Leafy Dill can be planted directly in the garden or started early indoors. Planting will typically occur from March to August, in most areas. Seeds should be planted 1/4 inch deep, thinned to 4 inch spacing, to allow for full growth.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
