Summer Pinwheels Zinnia would be a great addition to your flower garden. These seeds are from Renees Garden seed company. This zinnia will form with lower growing deep green foliage, with flowers held above, at up to 3.5 feet tall. The flowers are double and larger in size. They are a very attractive bright reddish-pink in color, with white tips. The flowers will bloom abundantly from summer to fall. Summer Pinwheels Zinnia are great for beautiful cut flower arrangements. They are also quite attractive to a variety of pollinators! Each of the seed packets will weigh .7 grams, containing approximately 100 seeds.
Additional Information
Zinnia seeds can be started early indoors or directly seeded into the garden. They should be planted outdoors once nighttime temperatures remain above 50 degrees. The seeds should be planted at a depth of 1/2 inch, spaced 2 to 3 inches apart. Once the seedlings are established, thin to a spacing of 8 to 12 inches.
