State Fair Gold Medal Zinnias are a great choice for your flower garden! This heirloom seed mix is from Renees Garden seed company. These zinnias will have nice deep green foliage, with upright flower stems held upright above. The flowers are fully double, blooming over a long season from late spring into the fall. They will be attractive shades of pink, red, orange and white. State Fair Gold Medal Zinnia are great for cut flower arrangements. They are also very attractive to a variety of pollinators! Each of the seed packets will weigh 1 gram, containing 90 to 95 seeds.
Additional Information
Zinnia seeds can be started early indoors and directly seeded in the garden. They can be planted once temperatures remain 50 degrees or above. The seeds should be planted 1/2 inch deep, with a 2 to 3 inch spacing. Once the seedlings are well established, thin to 12 inch spacing to a allow for growth.
