Big Beef Beefsteak Tomato is a great choice for your garden. These are larger, deep red in color, reaching about 10 to 12 ounces in overall size. This plant will produce an abundance of fruits through the season. They are a great slicer for sandwiches or a variety of other uses. Big Beef Beefsteak Tomato is an indeterminate tomato, reaching upwards of 7 feet tall. Seeds are best started 6 to 8 weeks before temperatures reach about 55 degrees at night. The plants will need to be caged or staked to support the vigorous plants. Each packet will contain approximately 6 to 8 seeds.

Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
