Sweet Greens & Reds Farmers Market Blend Lettuce is a great choice for your vegetable garden. This exclusive blend of seeds is from Renees Garden seed company. It contains a mix of flavors, colors and textures. This mix contains Little Gem, Tango, Outredgeous and Cimarron lettuce varieties. They have a great mix of colors, ranging from lime green, deep green, crimson and burgundy in color. These leaves are tender and sweet, perfect for salad or on a sandwich. This is a 'cut and come again' variety. Once the lettuce reaches 4 to 5 inches tall, cut to a height of 1 to 2 inches. Several cuttings should follow over the season. Each seed packet will weigh 2 grams, containing approximately 1900 seeds.

Sweet Greens & Reds Farmers Market Blend Lettuce can be planted in cool weather conditions. Depending on your area, the seeds can be planted from February to June for spring crops and August to September for fall harvest. Seeds can be planted in rows or broadcast over an area. They should be planted at 1/4 inch depth, spaced 1/2 inch. The seeds will generally take 5 to 14 days to germinate. The lettuce will typically reach maturity in approximately 35 days.
