General Information
Lacinato Italian Heirloom Kale will be a nice choice for your garden. The leaves of this kale are thick and highly crinkled. They are an attractive blue-green in color. The Lacinato Kale will have good heat and cold tolerant qualities. This kale will have a good sweet flavor. It is great for sautéing, in soups or for a variety of other uses. The seed packets will contain approximately 275 seeds.
Additional Information
The seeds can be started early indoors or directly into the garden. Depending upon your climate, they can be planted February to May for spring and summer harvest or August to September for fall harvest. The plants should be spaced 10 to 12 inches apart to allow for full growth.

Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
