General Information
Legion of Honor Poppy is a great choice for your flower garden. These seeds are an exclusive heirloom offer from Renees Garden seed company. This style of poppies is common in Western Europe, covering the fields in springtime. The plant forms as a clump of foliage, with the flowers held above. The leaves are deeply cut, with a nice grey-green color. The flowers are very silky in appearance and moderate in size, growing to 3 inches wide. They are a very attractive deep crimson-red in color, with a black center eye. If left to go to seed, these poppies may return next growing season. Each of the seed packets will weigh 1 gram, containing approximately 4000 seeds.
Additional Information
Poppy seeds are typically best seeded in the early spring, but can be planted in the fall in warmer climates to get an early start on the next growing season. Seeds should be planted very shallow, with dirt barely covering them. Once seedlings are well established, thin to 4 inches or so to give room to grow. The seeds will germinate in 7 to 14 days.

When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal.
