Catalina Baby Leaf Spinach is a great choice for your vegetable garden. It is an exclusive from Renees Garden seed company. This is a vigorous, fast growing plant that produces a great harvest of tasty spinach leaves. The leaves are small and oval in shape. They are well textured and deep green in color. The leaves are sweet, mild, slightly nutty in flavor without any metallic tasting overtones. The leaves are great in salads, sandwiches and a variety of other culinary uses. Each seed packet will weigh 5 grams and contains approximately 550 seeds.

Catalina Baby Leaf Spinach can be planted as soon as chance of hard frost has passed. In spring, February to May and August to September for fall harvest. The seeds should be planted 1/2 inch deep, 1 inch apart. They can also just be broadcast over an area. Thin to 5 inches apart to allow for full growth for the plants. These seeds will germinate in 7 to 10 days. The plants will reach harvest size in approximately 40 days.
