General Information
Cinnamon Sun Sunflower is a great choice for your flower garden. These seeds are an exclusive offering from Renees Garden seed company. These sunflowers can be quite tall, growing upwards of 5 to 7 feet. The flower heads are held up on strong stalks, with nice deep green foliage. The flowers are large, growing 5 to 6 inches wide. The individual petals are overlapping, with a velvety appearance. The petals are maroon-bronze in color, with a chocolate center seed cone. Once the fall arrives, the seeds will provide a nice food source for birds. Each of the seed packets will weigh 1 gram, containing 20 to 25 seeds.
Additional Information
The seeds can be started indoors or direct seeded into the garden. It is best done after the threat of frost has passed, March to June in most all areas. They should be planted 1/2 inch deep, at a spacing of 4 to 5 inches. Once the seeds have been established, they should be thinned to a spacing of 12 to 15 inches.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
