General Information
NorthCountry Blueberry is a deciduous fruiting shrub. It has great berries, to go along with some nice ornamental appeal. It is of moderate overall size, making this a great option for placing in variety of landscaping settings. This shrub has nice green foliage through the growing season, and can have nice red color in the fall. In the spring, their are clusters of bell shaped white flowers. Delightful fruits follow these flowers. The Northcountry blueberries ripen to deep blue in color in late June to early July. This plant can produce berries by itself, but will produce more with a pollinating partner, such as Northblue.

Vaccinium 'Northcountry' grows to a height of 2 to 3 feet, with a width of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones of 3 to 8. It tends to grow and produce best in full sunlight. Northcountry tends to grow best in well drained soils with average amounts of moisture. Displays nice cold hardiness qualities.
