Violet Pinwheels Creeping Phlox is an ornamental perennial plant. This is a lower growing groundcover plant, typically reaching about 4 inches tall. Its spreading nature and great visual appeal will make it an ideal choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage will grow quite densely, with short narrow leaves. They are deep green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. These flowers will bloom in abundance in the mid to late springtime. They will be a beautiful violet-blue in color. The flowers of the Violet Pinwheels Phlox will be great for attracting butterflies and other pollinators!

Phlox ‘Violet Pinwheels’ grows to a height of 4 to 5 inches, with a spread of 24 to 36 inches. It is recommended for climate zones 4 to 8. It can grow in full to partial sunlight. Violet Pinwheels Phlox grows best in well drained soils with moderate amounts of moisture. It is not known to have any serious insect or disease issues.
