General Information
Catlin's Giant Bugleweed is an excellent, fast growing ground cover. It features rosettes of large, bronze-green and purple leaves with upright spikes of small blue flowers that emerge in Spring. Catlin's Giant is primarily grown for its attractive foliage. Plant it under trees where your lawn refuses to grow. It will help choke out weeds under shrubs, and is a great choice for rock beds and to help control erosion on slopes. This plant is fast growing and should be planted only where mass ground cover is desired. It should not be planted along lawns, where the young shoots will spread.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
