General Information
Little Kitten Maiden Grass is an ornamental perennial grass. It is a shorter growing grass, with a good deal of ornamental appeal. The smaller size makes it ideal for a variety of landscaping areas. The narrow, grass-like leaves arch outward. The leaves are a very attractive bright green color throughout the growing season. They will turn golden to tan in the fall. Flower plumes grow in open sprays above the foliage. They are white in color, tinted pink to red in color. Seeds follow the flowers, turning beige in color in the late summer to fall.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
