General Information
Creeping Lily Turf is a perennial plant. It is a creeping, mat forming plant that is ideal for growing in large landscaping beds, under large trees or for erosion control. The leaves are long and arching, approximately 1/4 inch wide. The densely growing foliage is dark green in color. The plant will go dormant in colder areas, but may be evergreen in warmer climates. Small lavender flowers on upright spikes in the late summer. Small black berries can follow on the spikes.
Additional Information
Liriope spicata will be 12 to 18 inches tall, with a spread of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 10. Creeping Lily Turf can grow well in full to partial sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
