Hello Spring Feather Reed Grass is an ornamental perennial grass. It is moderate in size, reaching to 4 feet tall. These plants have a nice upright, slightly arching growth habit. They are great in a variety of landscaping areas. Narrow leaves have a very attractive variegated appearance. They are deep green in the center, bright white on the outer edges. White flowers on plumes in the summertime, turning the tan seed pods in the fall.

Calamagrostis x acutiflora 'Hello Spring' will be 3 to 4 feet tall, with a similar spread. It is recommended for climate zones 3 to 9. Hello Spring Feather Reed Grass tends to do best when planted in full sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
