Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans are a great choice for your vegetable garden. These seeds are an heirloom, organic selection from Renees Garden seed company. This is a vining bean plant and will require a trellis, stakes or some form of strong supports. The beans are long and slender, reaching up to 6 inches long. The Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans will grow and produce quite vigorously, producing a crop in approximately 60 days from planting. The beans are perfect for a variety of cooking uses. Each seed packet will contain 115 to 120 seeds, weighing in at 20 grams.
Additional Information
The beans are best started out in the garden once temperatures remain above 55 degrees at night. They are typically planted March to June in warmer climates, May to June in cooler areas. The seeds should be planted about 4 inches apart at a depth of 1 inch. They will typically germinate in 5 to 10 days.
