Flashy Trout Back Cutting Lettuce is a great addition to your vegetable garden. These seeds are an organic, heirloom product from Renee's Garden seed company. It produces a tasty and quite ornamental crop of lettuce. This is a 'butterhead' variety of lettuce, producing nice, full heads of lettuce. The leaves are light to medium green in color, with red speckles and streaks through the lettuce. Delightful taste, great for salads! Each of the seed packets will contain approximately 960 seeds.
Additional Information
The seeds are best started directly in the garden in the earlier springtime. The seeds should be sewn at quarter inch depth, 2 inches apart. Rows should be spaced 6 to 8 inches. Thin plants to 10 to 12 inch spacing to allow for full growth potential. The seeds will germinate in 7 to 14 days. Harvest occurs in approximately 50 days.

- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
