General Information
Rouge Vif d'Etampes Pumpkins are a great choice for your garden. These are heirloom, organic seeds from Renees Garden seed company. This pumpkin is of French origin and has a variety of uses. It can grow to be larger in size, typically reaching 10 to 15 pounds. This pumpkin has a somewhat flattened, yet rounded overall shape. These pumpkins will mature to a deep orange to reddish-orange color. The Rouge Vif d'Etampes Pumpkins are great for decoration in the fall. They also have an added benefit of being great for pie, soups and a variety of other cooking uses. Each seed packet will weigh 5 grams and contain approximately 21 seeds.
Additional Information
These pumpkins can be planted once night time temperatures remain above 50 degrees, April to June in most areas. The seeds should be planted one inch deep. Either in groups of three in rows or 6 per broad mound. Thin to one per row group or three per mound to allow for full growth. The seeds will take around 7 to 10 days to germinate. It will take approximately 100 days until harvest from planting.
