Montana Moss Juniper is an evergreen shrub. It is smaller in size, reaching about 4 feet tall. The shrub tends in grow in a compact fashion, with a rounded and spreading habit. It is a nice choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The evergreen needles are quite small, mossy in appearance and soft to the touch. They have a very attractive blue-green color. Montana Moss Juniper will keep this very attractive coloration throughout the year. It is a great low maintenance shrub!

Juniperus chinensis 'SMNJCHM' will be 2 to 4 feet tall, with a spread of 3 to 5 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Montana Moss Juniper tends to do best in full sunlight conditions. It requires well drained soils, with average moisture amounts.
