General Information
Marie's Doublefile Viburnum features upright, rounded, spreading form with light green summer foliage. The foliage has more of a yellow tint than other plicatum viburnum. The leave are ovate and toothed. The underside of the leaves are darker with tiny, soft hairs. In late spring, clusters of lacy, white flowers decorate the shrub. Red fruits follow the flowers and turn black as they mature. The 'Mariesii' does not produce abundant fruits, however this may be from a lack of proper pollination. Fall foliage is purple. The Marie's Doublefile is a native of Japan. Wonderful specimen shrub for the landscape. Plant in mass for a hedge or foundation planting.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal.
