National Beauty Azalea is an ornamental shrub. It is moderate in size, growing to 4 feet tall and wide. It prefers a slightly shaded area, providing a great pop of color in your landscape. The leaves of this azalea are evergreen. They have a very nice glossy, deep green color in the growing season, with a slightly yellow tint in the winter. The flowers bloom in abundance in the spring, covering the plant. They are moderate in size, with frilly petals. The flowers are bright pink in color. Very attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds!

Rhododendron 'National Beauty' grows to a height of 3 to 4 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. It tends to do best when planted in partial shade. National Beauty does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
