Large, red, double flowers bloom in early spring on the Scarlet Storm Quince Double Take. These spectacular camellia-like flowers will definitely make you take a double take! Wonderful, thornless variety. The Quince Scarlet Storm was developed by Dr. Tom Ranney and his team in North Carolina. An excellent shrub for privacy hedging and mass planting. Use the cut flower stems in floral arrangements. Can be used to help control erosion. Beautiful as a specimen shrub.

Chaenomeles speciosa 'Scarlet Storm' grows best in Full to Part Sun. It will grow 4 to 5 feet tall with a width of 3 to 4 feet. Plant in zones 5 to 9. Good drought tolerance once established. Deer resistant.
