Wee Bit Grumpy Hydrangea is an ornamental shrub. It will have a nice, rounded overall form. The ornamental appeal and compact size make this hydrangea a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The glossy foliage is dark green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers clusters are nice and large, blooming in abundance through the summertime. The flower color is dependent upon soil ph. They will be reddish-violet in acidic soils, bright red in alkaline soils. Wee Bit Grumpy Hydrangea is a new introduction from Proven Winners!

Hydrangea macrophylla 'Stragrum' will be 18 to 24 inches tall, with a width of 24 to 30 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Wee Bit Grumpy Hydrangea can grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
