General Information
Gem Box Inkberry is a evergreen shrub. It has a good deal of ornamental appeal. It is similar in appearance to a boxwood, making it a nice alternative in some areas. It is smaller in size, with a compact, rounded overall form. There are small white flowers in the spring, followed by dark berries in the fall. The leaves are small, but grow densely on the shrub. In the spring, they can have a nice red blush on the tips. The leaves are dark green in color, with a glossy appearance. They keep this attractive appearance all through the year.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
